Remedial massage aims to improve the suppleness and flexibility of muscles and joints, improve blood circulation, speed up the healing of damaged or stressed muscles, tissues and joints, and prevent furthur muscular injuries from occurring.

For everyone

Sports & remedial massage is not only suitable for the training athlete. In fact anyone can benefit from such a massage because it is an excellent way for releasing muscle tension and restoring balance to the overall musculoskeletal system.

By working deeply into the soft tissues it can alleviate fatigued and knotted muscle fibres.

For the sports person

A sports remedial massage which has been well tailored to the individuals needs can reduce strain and discomfort caused by training or participating in an intense exercise programme. The specific techniques applied in a sports remedial massage encourages the body to heal and repair any injuries sustained. A specific approach called myofascial release is combined to target deeper imbalances often stemming from injury, illness or repetitive strain.

What are the benefits?

  •  Improves muscle flexibility and blood circulation
  •  Reduces swelling
  •  Aids the prevention of sports injuries and assists the body with recovery
  •  Stimulates lymphatic system to help remove waste products from body
  •  Reduces overall tension and aids relaxation
